Certain categories like Columns, Ducts or Pipes have the Tag Vertical Hosts option, which will match tag hosts running perpendicular to the view plane. For example, elements running along the global Z axis if you’re tagging a plan view or a ceiling plan. These are often called “risers”.
As shown in the top right corner of the output below, you can also group tags of vertical hosts. If there’s no other tag within the grouping distance, the new tag will be placed like an individual tag.
